SRI Instruments maintains a selection of SRI 310 and 8610C GC systems, in various analytical configurations, tested and ready for rental on short notice.  These systems are perfect for your short-term projects that do not justify budgeting the purchase of a new instrument.  Rentals are also useful when you are having major upgrade work performed on your own GC and you need a temporary replacement instrument.  Rental GCs and data systems also make "test drive" evaluation a reality, permitting you to evaluate a SRI GC system prior to purchase.  We are here to serve your needs.

Our rental fees are based upon the retail price of the instrument to be rented. The daily rental fee for one of our GCs is @ 0.75% of the retail value (rounds up). Our minimum prepaid rental charges are the greater of either $750 or 10 calendar days of rental fees.  Prepayment of the initial period rental fee is required prior to shipment or will-call release of the instrument.  Any balance is invoiced as incurred, NET 30 DAY on approved credit, unless alternate arrangements are made.
 
A typical FID GC retails for $7,490 without a column.  The daily fee would be $60.00. The minimum prepaid rental for this instrument would be $780, plus shipping. This would secure use of the GC system for 13 calendar days. The monthly fee would be $1,498.

Other configurations are also available. In some instances, we may provide you with an instrument that is equipped with more features than you require or are being quoted for your application. You are not charged for the features of the instrument that are not being used during your rental, and these items do not influence your rental fee. The actual value of the instrument, printed on your agreement, is only relevant when a conversion to purchase, or replacement due to loss or damage is involved during your rental.

For our rental contract users, we will extend a credit of 50% of the total rental fees incurred during a rental use, toward the purchase of the same instrument that was rented.  We will honor that credit for 10 working days, allowing you adequate time to make a purchase decision regarding your rental GC system. SRI GC rentals are not available through any SRI resellers.
